Used for as long as man has roamed the earth hiking sticks offer a companion for your journey whether through the woods or down the market. This is a hand-carved bear in hardwood harvested in the Ozarks and carved by David Egesdal with Creation Carvings LLC. These Walking Sticks are made in the Ozarks of the USA. Each stick has been hand cut, thoroughly dried, hand sanded and finished for a hiking stick with the quality that will last a lifetime. The pictures above provide an example of the stick that you will get. Each walking stick has unique grains, knots, and curves. All sticks come with a Rubber Tip for extra grip and a Leather Strap for more support. Creation Carvings is dedicated to making sure you get one that is well balanced with minimum wiggles. If you want a stick that has more wiggles please message me and I will pick out one with more "character". We use hardwoods such as: hickory, elm, dogwood, ash, oak and other hardwoods from the ozarks. Walking sticks are a great companion while hiking or doing regular walking. They reduce the strain on knees and help with balance. I personally take a walking stick out every time I go trekking these Ozark Mountains. I am confident in the durability of my walking sticks and the benefits they bring. The stick that I have been trekking with is 19 years old and still works great on the Ozark Mountain trails.
